It’s been a while since I’ve worked on my Coldplay-inspired data project. Recently, I made some progress. If you’re interested in my previous efforts, you can read about them here.

The idea has transformed into one that visualizes the discography using simple data: vinyl records and the songs on their sides. These are used to generate shapes. I then apply colour to them using system based on a colour spectrum, similar to the one for the song colour spectrum on the Head Full of Dreams album cover.

The visuals are still conceptual, but I like where they are going.
